My name is Heather. I’ve worked at pet stores for over 5 years and have knowledge of most kinds of companion animals. I also focused in animal behavior during my undergrad years. I also worked for Disney’s zoo in Florida, Animal Kingdom. I’ve kept many different kinds of pets over the years from dogs and cats to scorpions and snakes and rats and ferrets, and even freshwater and saltwater fish. I’ve never had birds myself but I also know how to take care of those including hand feeding baby parrots. I’ve also provided topical and oral medications as well as subcutaneous injections to cats, dogs, and rodents.
